I drew this when I was a patient in a trauma program in Kansas City, Missouri. While creating it, I felt that I was somehow in a very diverse circle of the familiar.
It hasn't always been named "The Pond." The original has a different name, but I've forgotten it.

Eyes capture light's variations as the mind interprets color-filled patterns. Lesa Weller's art expresses and eases her struggle with Dissociative Identity Disorder.
