Eyes capture light's variations as the mind interprets color-filled patterns. Lesa Weller's art expresses and eases her struggle with Dissociative Identity Disorder. Emotions from lost time resurface in ink, oils, artist markers, colored pencils and watercolors. Her abstracts combine geometric and organic forms in arresting colors and stylish designs. Like how this one "took off" from the original inspiration of the mountains. Brought to mind for me the triple scooped "rainbow" ice cream cones I used to always covet as a kid. Image Has a childlike playful quality that I like.
