Knowledge is definitely power. This Water Study is dedicated to Dr. Michael Howard, Nueropsychiatrist and Educator on the brain and anxiety disorders. I thank him for offering to me an understanding of the brain and how it can heal itself from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). With an holistic approach using one-mindedness and meditation, we are able to formulate new memories to replace those of fear and dread. Retraining the brain's ability to use its frontal lobe and perceive life differently, we are capable of recovering and finding peace.
About Lesa Weller
Eyes capture light's variations as the mind interprets color-filled patterns. Lesa Weller's art expresses and eases her struggle with Dissociative Identity Disorder. Emotions from lost time resurface in ink, oils, artist markers, colored pencils and watercolors. Her abstracts combine geometric and organic forms in arresting colors and stylish designs.
