About Lesa Weller
Eyes capture light's variations as the mind interprets color-filled patterns. Lesa Weller's art expresses and eases her struggle with Dissociative Identity Disorder. Emotions from lost time resurface in ink, oils, artist markers, colored pencils and watercolors. Her abstracts combine geometric and organic forms in arresting colors and stylish designs. http://www.eekbatik.com/mtPrintPage.html Dear Lesa, thank you for sharing this beautiful image. In my latest children's book Priscilla the Peacock helps Olaf the Giant to retrieve his shoes that the trolls have stolen. The eyes on her tail can see in the dark. I love that your birds can fly without wings on the uplifting winds. Really lovely work that reminds me of my friend Marie Therese King from the UK who works in Batik. (See a link above)
Lesa Weller replied:
Jane, the link is interesting. I have a lot to learn about batiking, but what a great compliment!

Lesa, I know I keep saying this, but I would love to have a scarf made out of this image! Can you tell I love scarves? But, also love your drawings, paintings, pen work.. so much detail work you do! Thank you for all the features you give me in the groups as well. Just thought I would tell you on your own work, so you might be more apt to read it here! I love the Wild and Crazy group! I hope you have a wonderfully productive week Lesa! Voted and Fav'd
Lesa Weller replied:
Kym, you are so sweet. I love it when you comment on my art. And I truly enjoy featuring your wonderful work on Wild and Crazy. I am checking into the possibility of scarves. :)
